Vin Vino Wine is a neighborhood bottle shop and tasting bar on California Avenue in Palo Alto dedicated to providing a selection of thoughtfully chosen wines.
At VVW, we are committed to bringing you wines of quality and authenticity. Our goal in choosing what we stock our shelves with is to showcase exemplary wines from the great growing regions of the world, emphasizing quality and uniqueness over variety for the sake of it. We strive to find producers who create memorable bottles through careful attention to the vines and an honest approach in the cellar.
Whether the occasion calls for an everyday sipper or a wine for the ages, VVW has chosen wines that we feel excel within their specific category.
Guillaume Bienaime is a long-time resident, chef and restaurateur on the Peninsula. He got his formal start in the restaurant business at Marché in Menlo Park in 2003 where his love of wine began. Currently, he is the proprietor of Zola, a French eatery in downtown Palo Alto, where he maintains a wine list that is rooted in France, but champions wines of balance from California.
Alecia Blazei is the numbers person. She has worked with Michael Martella at Martella Winery for 13 years, and has learned from him about the art and science of winemaking. She brings a passion for wine along with an organizational skill set that will keep us from having to eat wine for dinner. She also has tremendous experience handling restaurant accounting, so we work very well together.
Lisa Robins has spent most of the last two decades running restaurants as General Manager and Wine Director. Some of you may have crossed paths with her at Marché (where she met VVW co-owner Guillaume) or Howie’s Artisan Pizza (where she met Alecia). She has been a devoted Burgundy fan with a keen interest in Italian wines for years. She lives for service.
We appreciate you contacting us . One of our colleagues will get back to you shortly.
Have a great day!
